As PSRB says, bit harsh. Norgy looked rather tasty in pre-season. And we can just play one of Dec or Zubi if need be. I still think MnM can be a great player - his injury at the start and then all the other injuries meant we never saw him in MF. We've seen he can finish, and most of his goals were Freddie like, arriving late in the box. He has some lovely touches on the edge of the box and has played with Zubi. {And Odin?} We also have Eze and Kai as L8s in a 4-1-2-3 formation.

And Brentford fans were gutted to lose Norgy - their chairman said he was cool with the deal cos he'd given 5 great years to them and he couldn't begrudge the player a chance to win things with his last big contract. Civilised lot, that lot. Like the Eagles with Eze.

We used to have Torreira and Gwendo in the starting XI FFS.

Shall I mention Rambo just to trigger WES? Though he scored some sexy goals.

I actually loved Jorgy, really intelligent player. But let's not slag off Norgy until we've seen him and I still think MnM can be a very, very, very useful player for us.
I thought Jorginho was a slow, overrated **** before he joined us. I grew to like him, although he was in fact even slower than I thought

Superb range of passing, lovely touch.

I liked him the day he signed cos there was a clip on CFC tv where they interviewed one of their scum players and one of the questions was who's the most intelligent player he plays with. The Chav said Jorgy. Some guy off camera said "You can't say that cos we've just sold him." And the Chav, to give him his dues, said "I don't care. It's still Jorgy."

That goal where he hit the bar and it bounced in off Martinez's head. He never let us down. 12 mil for 2.5 seasons in all of which we finished 2nd. That was a good bit of business. I was hoping he stayed at the club and started his coaching badges.

You can see why MA liked him. After buying donkey after donkey from the Chavs, he was the first who was worth it since GG {him, not me} before we won our first double. Kai's been well worth it and hopefully Noni will be too.

Sorry, I liked Jorgy. Got the best out of the players around him. Gilby was different but both were under-rated for what they bought to the side.

Very popular in the changing room and bags of PL experience. I liked him but as a squad member.

To be fair, William Gallas was a ****ing great player. Bit of a ****, but a great defender.

We got the very last bit of juice out of him. He was finished last season, really. 90 minutes was a bit beyond him,

But he was a good signing for us. 12 million for a couple of years of quality midfield work is a steal.

And yeah, we dont see it but a guy who makes a dressing room happy is worth his salary on that alone.

That's why I was hoping he'd stay and do his coaching badges. Sensible player. Used to tell the youngsters not to buy Ferraris but instead invest the money for their retirements. Was meant to be like MA in that he'd analyse each game like a manager.

Never forgiven Gallas for that strop that cost us the title. We should never have sold Cashley to them. We should have sued them for tapping him up.
