    2. Julian Alvarez. I see his agent making noise about regretting going to Athletico. Well he'd be a huge signing for us. Can play anywhere in a front three. Berta bought him to Athletico too so presumably already has a relationship with his representatives. Fee being the big downside.
    3. Watkins - Arsenal fan. PL proven. Cheapish. Villa need to sell. Not a level raiser but solid.

If it was Isak though.... We'd all be dancing on the streets of Holloway Road.
Rodrygo doesn't solve the problem at all.

Hate to say it, but Watkins is probably the best option

Alvarez, I'd be very happy with. Massively under-utilised at Citeh

I mean... we have Martinelli, Trossard, Rodrgyo and Merino that could play up front. And it solves the problem we have on the left too. Isak also solves the same problem.

Me too. I'd prefer him to Isak in many ways. But he won't be cheap.

Rodrygo loan could be an option. Or another loan. But we can't spend a fortune on another striker. We have two on the sidelines and we are hopeless at selling players.

I guess we should be looking at chelsea. Jackson? Sterling?

If Havertz is out for the season, we really are ****ed

Anyone but Jackson. I assume you're not actually being serious about Sterling.

It depends how desperate we are

Let's face it, if Havertz has done his cruciate he is gone for the season, and that is huge. And it presents us with a massive problem, late in the window. I don't believe we have significant sums to spend. Anything could happen.... including nothing.

We'll have spent 200 million and be faced with an attack that is, if anything, weaker than last season

Morgan Rogers one to watch, apparently.

Wouldn't be against that. He's one of the best dribblers in the league and that's what we're missing.

If we take the money being offered for Kiwior, Nelson, Lokonga etc we can afford Isak, if we want to.

We'll be lucky to get peanuts for Nelson or Lokonga. And as I've said, Kiwior will need replacing.

Interestingly, I have a friend who is a Newcastle fan. He says Isak is considerably less than lethal with his finishing and has a habit of going missing.

And we'd have about 300 millions quid's worth of centre forwards on the books and unable to sell them for a while. What happens when Havertz is fit?

It's a real problem. They'll be tempted by loans, and jackson may well be available......

Incredibly depressing, but we don't know the full extent of the injury yet. If it is really bad, that is really, really bad....

Apparently happened during the United match.....fingers crossed, it's just a meniscus or similar and not a fully blown ACL

Now he says it's Eze, from Crystal Palace.

Our folk are very excited, practically nominating Kai for player of the year even if he doesn't kick a ball.

Has to be said..... it would be ****ing funny if we signed Jackson, even on loan
