Is really hard to watch his fall from grace over the past 24 months. I don't think he's fundamentally changed... it's just that we now face low blocks every week and he's nowhere near technical enough to cope with that.

Madueke is going to play on the left. I said it, the club said it, yesterday he did it. I still think it is possible we go for Eze, but unlikely.

We only need a signing on the left if Trossard leaves. Nelson will go if we get an offer for him.

I get that he can play there but he's not played there in his career. Mind you, if we don't sign anyone else then he's going to have to because Martinelli can't be trusted. I think Madueke is there to give us something different to Saka. Has good as our boy is; he can be a leetle one dimensional.

        We need more chaos.

We've been over this. He has played there in his career, including last night on his Arsenal debut.

Madueke is not coming here simply to sit as cover for a guy who literally plays every game. It is obvious the club can see other uses for him. Maybe they like the option of a left footer on the left to supply crosses for our sparkly new centre forward...

That said, I am not claiming he is going to be any good on the left his right foot looks pretty ****.....

Well I did like him being direct and use his left foot to put some balls in. Merino just couldn't get on the end of them.

Seeing Merino up front again was pretty funny. New era looking remarkably like the old

I do like Merino. He reminds me of Jean Reno, the French actor; rarely the main character but always the best performer in any film he appears in.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
