Same here. About five mins ago, the ball was played to him, back to goal by the HWL. Goes down onto his back with 2 arm wrapped 'round him. No foul.

So long as we win, no-one cares except gamblers and Fantasy Football League managers.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

And the player in question. His confidence is on the floor. Looked forlorn out there.

He looks like a fish out of water, he's playing like a traditional No.9 and the rest of the players seem to think they're playing with a falso 9, which he patently is not.

At one point we finally had a decent move down our left, Eze on the ball in space, Gyok on their CH's shoulder, it looked set for a good chance for him.

Eze's ball in went out for a goal kick

Gyok was sh*t last session he is sh*t this season shocker. I find the affection this guy has by some of us weird. He's clearly limited as hell. One thing he has is he works hard.

We shouldn’t overthink these things. It’s not looking good for him for a whole number of reasons. I’m reading a lot about systems, service and playing to his strengths.
I don’t really care, it’s for Arteta to get the best from him, if he can’t then sell him in the window and move on, he’s had long enough.
I’m also fairly sure that Eze won’t be far behind him either. Awful distribution at times. Can’t seem to do the simple things.

Madueke put in two almost perfect balls for him. For the first he didnt get across the defender. For the second he was sitting off slightly.

Yes, he is limited. Most of the best strikers are. He just looks down at the moment but he shouldn't be. He'll get minutes if he does his work and stays sharp. We need him.

He needs to look at players like Merino and Zubimendi who will do what they have to do in order to play.

He's had long enough, 7s? I'm open to a discussion on his role and ability but he's had one season which is hardly enough.

Bobby Pires and Thierry Henry are two names that come to mind. Mikael Arteta too, just ask Bunnell.

As I said, fish out of water. Partly how we're playing, partly a lack of confidence. Seems strange as he finished well last year.

'Finished well last year' is perhaps an over-statement. I think what you mean is 'looked less bad then he did in the first half of the season'.

That progress has regressed. It's clear that Arteta sees it as I do and tried to get rid of him in the summer - he seems very downbeat.

Not his fault, of course. But the manager and players clearly don't trust him one iota. Sad to see and I imagine he's sold in Jan.

That will mean that both Gabi and Gyokores have gone as per my pleas last season. At least someone is listening!
