    If we had 5 defenders out, we'd still have 3, so we could play Dec at CH, with Easy or Kai at inside left. Or B at FB with Noni at RW.

    Imagine a right side of B, Noni and Odin. Vik drifting left to either take defenders with him or to find space where the RHS trio could get the ball to him via Zubi {and/or Big Willy and Gabby.}

      We are not going be gifted the title the way Liverpool were last season. We are going to have to earn this ourselves.

      I hope City don't rediscover their ruthless, consistent edge. They haven't yet. If they do, I am not convinced we can fight them off.

      And certainly not if we keep having to carry 7 injuries.

        Let's not talk about it.....

        The amount of injuries we have in the forward areas is quite astonishing. We have to be due a bit of luck.... surely!

          Said the same thing a couple of weeks back. Can?t yet decide if he?s overwhelmed by the shirt, or if Palace was his actual level.
          Olise has been a revelation at Bryan, so I?m still hoping that Eze can up his game. See also Gyokeres.

            I think he is more effective when the game speeds up and he can use his pace and power. He's being asked to play at a more pedestrian pace with us and maybe he needs to adjust.

            Maybe he is better suited to a wide role with us.

              Don't underestimate the little things. For are equaliser, his pass to MnM was perfectly weighted. That gave MnM time to control the ball and delay his pass without the defenders being able to get back. Under or over here and it wouldn't have happened.

                Right. In that split second the game speeded up and he had space, and knew what to do. We know he can do that.

                He's a very different player to Odegaard.

                  Agree with that. So maybe just teach him to press well and keep the shape defensively, and just think it will be those moments of magic when they game, as you say, speeds up.

                  Bayern, or Inter away might be interesting. Quick counters instead of horseshoe vs parked bus. Like that Man City equaliser assist.
