  • You lot are embarrassing bedwetters.

We were the better team with our four highest profile starts out. If we had tried to carve Liverpool open we?d have lost heavily,

We?ll piss this league imho. Calma.

New boy in tomorrow (and maybe one other?). Few exits & then international break.

Saliba, White and Saka back then.
    Jesus soon after.

    Up The Arsenal.

'Tried to carve them open' jesus christ

Look, this is not one performance. This is two years of us putting in these same crappy, cynical, negative, destroying tactics and consistently failing to win big games, and dropping points against inferior sides.

Same **** we saw at United. Same **** we saw last season at United, at Newcastle etc etc etc.....

The injuries excuse just doesn't wash. Last season we were just as bad when everyone was fit.

The problem is our approach to games. I said it all last season. This season it nearly cost us points at old Trafford and it cost us 3 today. Next up Newcastle, where we have managed ti lose 1-0 two seasons running with exactly this sort of performance.

Nothing gets better until Arteta changes his approach. And even if it worked, it's ****ing awful to watch.

Meet me at the parade on Holloway Road in May and tell me how awful it was to watch?

Really we are playing a game of probability every week. I appreciate that may not be what football fans want to hear but our record against the top six in recent years has been best in class?

I cannot stress this enough but what we need to improve is our ruthlessness against lesser teams. It is here that we have lost out on titles in recent years (marginally).

Nonsense. Three seasons ago a win at anfisld would have kept us on course for the title. We blew a two goal lead. We got thumped home and away by city. That cost us the title

Two seasons ago we drew at both anfield and city in games that would have left us ahead in the race.

It is easy to dismiss these games but look at it this way. We have never won a title in my lifetime where we have lost away to our main rival.

And anyway, my argument is about our performances across the board. This piss poor approach is exactly what makes us vulnerable to dropping points everywhere, not just in the big games. Those many games where we go 1-0 up and then gradually become scared of Brighton, or Fulham, or Palace.

        Same mentality, same problem.

We have missed out on the title by very narrow margins in previous seasons.

In these same seasons we have had the best points per game ratio of the big six in those big fixtures.

Playing this way has achieved that.

Our weakness is not having the talent to achieve the same PPG as our rivals against the other 14 teams in the league. The signings we have made will help address this point.

Not true. Last season we missed out on the title by a country mile. Three seasons ago our record against the top sides was ****e- drew at anfield, lost at United, lost home and away against city.
Season before last we arguably lost the title by drawing at city and losing at home to a top six villa side.

Strength in depth has been an issue in previous years but in both of the last two seasons I'd argue it was because we played this ****ty football too often.

Over the last two years, that post Dubai run in is the only sustained period of good form we have produced. The other 18 months has been this ****.

That's why we aren't winning anything. And the first three games of this season are a strong indication that it hasn't changed

But, we'll see. Firstly, wonder how many will come back injured from the international break......

                No chance.
Anytime it gets to the important part Arteta does what he did yesterday,

Same thing as PSG 1st leg last year. I think we could have beaten them.

We need to learn to win before we get to that important part. Rather like Liverpool did last season.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

I reckon Emery will get sacked this season.

funny enough I thought we had learned to win when we beat Villa away the previous season.

Can't be losing 3-0 at home to Palace. Away at Everton and then Sunderland next.

I didn't even know about that result!

What is the deal with Martinez?
