So Isak has been left out of Newcastle's pre-season tour. We couldn't, could we?

    oh my.
If we can pull the plug on Gykores and go for Isak then we need to do it. Want to see us ruthless for once.

Even if that means we see a big departure.

I swear it is only a matter of time before they end up trying to sign a player they already own.

I find it rather bizarre that they don't players they actually need.

It must be a business strategy. They rely on making a few big sales every year.

Nice session in the cricket, there.

Not sure I've ever seen a stump go flying and then stick in the ground! Think 350 is a decent score, should have batted first

To be fair, they did sell us Supermac.

Although perhaps that's WHY the clubs hate each other

It was the Debuchy one that did it.
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Gyokeres has an eye for goal, no doubt.
Why does he want to leave? They qualified for the European Cup, didn't they.

Have we signed on the dotted line for Gykores yet? Can we accomodate both if we sell Martinelli?
Don't see why not, if we are "apparently" looking at two more big signings.

And Martinelli is not going anywhere; he's got too much Arsenal flavour for us to give him away.

Bit odd saying it now, after Arsenal, Liverpool and chelsea all bought someone else.

City can't be after him. That leaves PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid..

Any of those could make a decent case for buying him, regardless of who else they have. Mustn't forget we're all trying to catch up with Real Madrid, they are our REAL competition, so to speak.

He'll probably end up at the Emirates; one or two players there he already knows well. And whilst I appreciate such thoughts are heresy around here, it IS actually acceptable, if not even desirable, to have TWO proper goalscorers about the place

If we have that sort of money I'd rather we bought another midfielder and Eze.

We don't want to end up scoring too many goals again....

It's unfortunate, of course, but we might actually have to do just that if we are to win the Premier and Champions' leagues.

                                Unpleasant, but there it is
