Assume we have a plan to address that as Martinelli is probably the weakest link in the XI now.
That's just incorrect. Martinelli is probably one of the 1st name's on the team sheet and no coincidence that if he's out injured, he walks back in as soon as he's fit. He tracks back, probably even more than Saka does and helps give cover on the left.

Our play generally goes down the right because of Saka and Odegaard's link up.

Well, that is 50 million for a guy who is never going to play. This only makes sense if he sees another role for him and that cna only be on the left. He has played there for Chelsea, although not too often, or too well.

The role is our weakest link, not Martinelli himself. Our play leans to the right and to Saka, as you say. It goes out to Martinelli on the touchline and he is almost always isolated. It has been this way since Xhaka left.

Arteta may well think that Madueke is a better option if isolated one on one against a full back.

I've never trusted Chelsea's figures on their income and I doubt many others do.

It is tricky to get real value from players we no longer want. Zinchenko, for example. His shortcomings have been made all too familiar so you end up in a situation where the clubs that could afford his wages don't want him and the clubs that want him can't afford him.

Chelsea trade in players as commodities, we don't.

We got decent sums for Smith Rowe and Eddie, and the Ramsdale fee wasn't awful.

Still amazing that ?35m for the Ox is our highest sale.

Martinelli was one of our best players against the best team in Europe. He tore Hakim apart and PSG were very lucky to end both games with 11 players.

Still think that one of Arteta's challenges this season is to give Martinelli more support and make us more left sided.

The trip on Martinelli towards the end of the first leg was the most nailed on yellow card you will ever see. Ref totally bottled that.

Same. And there's an awful lot of Arsenal flavour about him; he really feels the colours of his club, as they say in Spain.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

You know he'll be no bother in signing a new contract.
