We dont like spending big in January, and for good reason. How often do big January signings make a significant impact from the word go? It is very rare. .

If the right profiles weren't available in the summer it is even less likely in January. And I'd rather we did nothing than sign mediocrity or hugely overpay for someone. I suspect the club feel the same. Their track record certainly suggests so.
