  • City’s keeper arguably responsible for both goals yesterday

That would be the same keeper who saved ABSOLUTELY F*CKING EVERYTHING in the 2nd leg against PSG two years ago

Just be grateful city signed him and Guehi. Without them they may well have pushed on in the new year and won the league. Both have been a disaster.

Absolute state of United as well seeing as I'm in a scoffing mood.

United are properly ****ed. Their owners have got them stuck in a spurs cycle.

Carrick putting Bruno on the bench was a great example of it. The guy should not have been allowed in the stadium.

the Munichs need an Arteta that will come in and get rid of the poison in that dressing room. Fernandes should be the first out the door.

Then they’d also need to do what Edu and Arteta did, start buying good players. Since that red faced jock c*nt left them there has been precisely zero evidence that they are capable of that.

        Long may it continue

That's exactly what they need. But we had one huge advantage over them which meant we could do ot and they cant- patience.

We were willing to accept that it would take time and that we could get worse before we got better.

Best thing they could do right now is appoint Edu and let him run the football side on his own. But they wont.

The Glazers are clearly milking that place for all they can. I suspect the new stadium is a load of pr bollix to distract the media and fans from continuation of said fleecing as it rolls into the next decade. The top gear looking fella with the knighthood is also a front, and a closet chelsea fan to boot, apparently.

            So essentially, they're ****ed.

That's certainly the view of my friends who support United. But as WES says, the problem isnt the money so much as how they spend it.

They could still milk the club dry while running it effectively. Instead they blow a lot of money on getting worse.

Very odd. Terrible, terrible owners. Clueless

Not that clueless. For no money of their own, they've bought one of the world's biggest clubs and also get paid huge dividends for every year they own it before selling it for billions in profit.

Which should NEVER have been allowed.

They are not financially clueless but they are clueless in running a football club. With better decisions they would be in possession of a more valuable asset generating better income.

The sweet irony of it all is that ferguson himself paved the way for their arrival by being a greedy, money grabbing cvnt.

Rock of Gibraltar, a toast to you.

I agree. But given it was allowed it's rather funny it happened to that lot. In many ways even funnier than if it had happened to the Spuds.

What's funniest still is that "fit a proper owner" is still apparently a thing.

Of course. If it had to happen to someone......

                        But it is just wrong.

I agree. My point is why keep the pretence of a fit and proper owner test?

Abrahamovic was a bent gangster in league with a gangster-spook oligopoly that took over a major state. BUT to be fair, it was before FPP and he won {well bought} the club loads and made the EPL "brand" a more exciting "product".

Abu Dhabi - nation state that supports the Janjawid/RSF genocide in Darfur. Blatantly cheated to ruin the little balance that was left in the PL. Risked killing the goose that laid the golden eggs, now rightfully done for cheating. BUT, as with the Chavs, if you're a City fan, that's what you wanted.

But the Glazers? Take one of the UK's most famous clubs and ruin it? Take one of the UK's biggest "brands" and soil it? Take one of our {relatively} largest service sector forreign currency earners and instead take all that capital out of the UK? It's not fit an proper because it doesn't benefit any of MU, the EPL or the UK economy.

                          That's my point.

CFC and MC should never have been allowed but you can see why their fans are happy.

But the Glazers show that the "fit and proper owner" test is beyond irony, it's a deliberate slap in the face to the fans.

Having said that, shall we all chip in, buy the Spuds, put the debt onto them and relegate the ****ers?

Your last sentence. Exactly that. I dont care if you are Mother Theresa, you cant come in and buy a club by sinking it into ridiculous, crippling debt.

That said, at least they only destroyed one club. City's owners destroyed the entire league.
