Explusion from the PL rather than relegation. Why should they be allowed to compete this season? The football league are then under no obligation to accept them into what would then become a farce of a Championship season next year.

They've embedded themselves into the fabric of manchester by throwing money at numerous regeneration projects, I believe. I guarantee you they will have protected themselves at higher levels, politically, as well.

4. Various class actions by the fans. How much would the buzz of winning the title in '23 and retaining it in '24 have been worth to us as fans? It's priceless. And think of the Scousers. Look at the buzz when we won the title for the first time in 22 years. When Liverpool won it for the first time in the PL, it was Covid so they weren't able to celebrate like we were. Imagine how they'd have felt if the whole of Liverpool had come out like we did in North London. That would've been priceless to them. And had City not been cheating, they have won the title before Covid and they would've got that buzz. To lifelong Liverpool fans that is absolutely priceless. I reckon £100 for each season you were cheated off a title if you can prove you're a fan - in any nation*. £1000 for any season in which you attended a game. £10,000 for every season in which you were a season ticket holder. Maybe half of that for an FA Cup and a quarter for a LC. Any club that would have got into Europe for the first time in their history should be compensated to the same amount. That's how much it's worth if you're a fan of someone like Brighton or Palace and you achieve that for the first time ever.

Following the nature of the guilty verdict (sham contracts, misleading accounts and so on), no doubt the taxman will be all over them all.

I think they can demand twenty years-worth of archival paperwork because the ruling specifically stated it was all a deliberate scam; rather than a series of honest mistakes, for example.
