  • Spain draw with Cape Verde.

That's what happens if you leave Daveed, Zubi and MnM on the bench you dago muppets.

    Never start Oyarzabal.

?????Always better off the bench against tiring defences. Merino would have been better choice to start as a target man.

Oh, you're joking. You got a link? I'm cheering for them if they've got goat fans. Who have they got next and is it at a watchable time? Forza the Cape Verde goats.

I saw it on instagram. The goats did look extremely happy.

Their next game is against Uruguay at 11pm Sunday night.

Perfect example of how to play a low block. Bit more quality up top and they could have nicked it as well.

Other than the bit where we scored, had Havertz 1v1 with the keeper at the end of the first half and were denied a clear penalty secodn half (imo)

I confess, I had to look up Cape Verde as I never heard of it.Now that I read up on it I can understand why their history was not mentioned in the build up as that would have been counter to the media narrative. A central port to gather up all the slaves the Portuguese bought along the African coast. Previously uninhabited.. rather amusing. They built castles so the other colonialists would have a hard time stealing their slaves! ????

Wicked. I've seen the vids on YT now. Two goats by a taxi, giving it the goat large. ****ing hope they win it. Glad I've got a team to support. Hope they stuff Uruguay. I shall watch.

Do any other teams have goats, P? You know we're winning the Big Ears next year. Those goats will breed and have kids and that will tip the cosmic scales far beyond Janjawid-funding petrodollar genocide wealth. Last May was our Dunkirk. The extra goats will be our Spitfire pilots. Of if you prefer, last May was the retreat from Mons. The extra goats shall be the taxi drivers taking the troops to the front at the Marne.

You're gonna be shocked when you really start studying imperial history, Chief. There's this old Portuguese Fort in Chapora in Goa, looks out over the sea and down over the jungle. Tourists go there. Took the glw once. She's just admiring the view and I'm saying "Can you feel it? How this connects to Angola and Brazil and Cape Verde to the West and Formosa to the East? One global empire founded on Portuguese navigation." And she said "No. Nice view, though."

You heard of the Brazilians, Chief? You know, the mob that gave us the 3 Gabbies, Silvinho, Edu, Gilby etc. Basically the last country to have the slave trade. They have the biggest mix of genes {though London might soon catch them} which is why they win more than anybody else.

If you've studied imperial history, slavery and the development of the global financial system, everywhere has it.

Don't remember anyone saying at LA '84 that Carl Lewis's 4 golds were all down to trans-Atlantic slavery so why have a go at Cape Verde? They have goats. You don't. Hope they beat you in the knockouts.

FC Köln (Poldi's club) has a goat as their mascot.

His name is Hennes IX, after a their former player and manager Hennes Weisweiler.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
