100% agree. That is one transfer 'saga' I think we can put to bed.

Thank God. The player he should be compared to is Havertz. I'm not at all convinced he's any better than Kai.

      He certainly isn't 130mil better.

      Next imo.

Especially when we announce the Alvarez monies have been used to fund Gyokeres' pay increase
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Didn't look any good against us. Vik looked by far the better striker.

Well they're never going to sell to Real, are they? Barca can't bid more than the 100m they have already so either he stays at Athletico or joins us for about ?120m. I'd take him at that price - he's one of the best forwards in world football.

I am also hearing rumours that we might be interested Vinicius Jr. Now normally I'd be against this sort of signing but it's clear that we need a bit of X Factor in forward areas.

Do we think the squad is big enough and mature enough to handle one player who may have a bit of ego? I think it's a risk worth taking.

Genuinely....no, I don't i think it only takes one tosser to ruin a dressing room.

Arteta is not going to be able to soften his stance on his 'non negotiables'. And i think he is right. I dont think we will be signing players that raise that kind of concern.

I dont like that Vinicius chap at all. But that may well be an outside impression. Who knows how he is in the dressing room..

Agree... we don't know what he is like as a man. But what we do know is that he is probably the best left winger in world football. So from a purely footballing perspective; he would improve us dramatically.

These things can be overblown. All footballers are necessarily affable, clubbable even, by nature.

As you pointed out, the key is the dressing room.

I can't make this work. Where's the new topic thing?

Anyway, for about the first time ever, we're linked with a player I've heard of and I like.

That Spanish winger, Nico Williams. I remember seeing him for Spain either 4 or 6 years ago at a tournament. I thought he looked ****ing great, both as a player and a hairdo. Bit like Easy.

The one position I think we all agree we need is a LW. And here's a 23 year old LW who looked great when I watched him.

Please make that happen. Explosive player. Ganpati willing, he'd be perfect for us.

Kroupi from Bournemouth and any decent left winger will do for me (in attacking areas).
