Thread: I don't want to be too harsh on any players.

    I don't want to be too harsh on any players.

    Not sure what we do with Madueke.

    he's very confusing, one second he looks amazing, next he's so erratic to the point where he looks like he will injure himself with all his twisting and turning.

    Glad him pulling out of that challenge didn't come back to haunt him the other day.

    He's got seven goals in a team whose forward line has been well below par all season. He has that spark of magic. He gets into the box with trickery and then cuts back from the by-line.

    Hopefully our one-eyed, three-legged donkey will get cosmically in choon with him and bang in shedloads when they're playing together {as well as banging in shedloads when playing with others.}

    For me, he has two main issues- first, his judgement and decision making is poor, or at least very inconsistent.

    Second, his technique and touch is not quite good enough for his pace. This is why you seem him burst past his defender and then run out of space.

    You can improve his decision making and tactical awareness. There are limits to how much you can improve his technique.

    I think he's a 20 million quid player. Fulham bound.

    I hope I am wrong.

    I like the way he skins the man and gets into the box by the byline and cuts it back. He's also good at taking corners, not much worse than B.

    Previously we had Raheem Sterling and Reiss Nelson {who I'd still like to see come good.} It's just a question of what we do with Max. The fact that him and B could both play inside right or ten/RW is a Godsend, but we already have Odin, Easy and Kai who can play no.10.

    Madueke bottling that challenge the other night was unforgiveable in my book, have been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt with regard to his general usefulness to us but that was inexcusable. Expect and hope Dec and Gabby gave him what for after the game so there won't be a repeat.

    Eze confuses me. I keep hearing what a fabulous footballer he is but I'm struggling to see it so far in terms of end product.
