    It isn't just that they've got 70 million for him. It is that Bayern have signed him. He's nowhere near good enough. It just doesn't make any sense.

      Perhaps Chelsea players are perceived as carrying a premium, on account of their trophy winning years ?

          I am surprised at Smith Rowe. Thought he would be doing a lot better.

          A lot of us laugh about the money we got for Iwobi but he has actually proven himself to be a decent premier league player. People pay far more for players far worse.

            Not sure that 6 goals in 123 apperances for Everton qualifies 'decent PL attacker' but yes - you're probably right. Not a bad player.

            The price was likely to reflect promise which he arguably has not lived up to.

              Agreed, but he has become an important player in a decent Fulham side
