I've never been. It was one of the few grounds my dad wouldn't let me go to when I started going on my own.

Chelsea and old trafford are probably the only two significant ones I've never been to.

That's what big brothers are for.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Newcastle is the only 'big' one I've not done.

I went twice in the late 80s/ early 90s. Could not believe how knackered the stadium was. Literally falling to pieces. And outside bogs with not even a roof...!

Police escort took a pretty 'interesting' route through the council estates. Absolute dog's abuse

We won 1-0 the first time, late header from Alan Smith, I think. Great fun

I was 15 and only had an older sister.

He let me go to West Ham and Spurs, his reasoning being that they liked a ruck but wouldn't attack a 15 year old kid. But he said Chelsea were absolute scum and he wouldn't put anything past them.

Worst experience I ever had was a cup game away to Brighton. Absolute animals.... really surprised me.

Burnley was pretty feisty, thankfully I'd made it back to the car before it all kicked off

Again, it wouldn't occur to me that Burnley might be bad.

Whereas you don't take the piss in Liverpool. In and out, and keep your head down

See I found Liverpool okay. Everton was certainly never any bother, though I was usually in the posh seats

Me and Ears nearly got a kicking leaving OT one time walking back to the car after the 1-0 Adebayor victory
                  Idiot Mancs: "You ****ing Gooners?"
Me: "No, of course not, we're going to be driving back to London"
Idiot Mancs: walk off confused before realising I was taking the piss by which time we'd made it into the secure car park

I never had an issue in Liverpool but I was confident that it would be easy to find one

Had plenty of people tell me that OT is a bit iffy.

But this team need to go and do this twice a week, every week, for the rest of the season. Smacking Chelsea around might just be the win that convinces them they can do it. A belief they are going to need when we go to City later in the season.....
We play them at the end of April. Should be all over by then.
