I thought it was meant to be for the NLD.

We've got Gabby and Noni back and I think Odin should be in the squard for Bayern. But when do Vik and Kai come back?

Kai had a setback before the internationals break, according to Germany's coach. And Viktor is too busy house-hunting to actually play any football but otherwise fine, I like to think
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

The club have arranged a friendly on Thursday against a Man Utd XI to give Jesus (and I assume Gyokeres) some match time

Interesting. Suits both clubs, I suppose.

          On the other hand ..

Really good both of them. So in the next few days they are going to have a repeat scan to see if we can push them for the weekend.

          They're shagged

If we have them back by the Villa game, that is pretty good. Merino is doing a fine job again.

            We'll have to manage

True. No new signings in January then?

We tend to avoid Januarys. Although the one time we did spend we spent well.... Trossard, Jorginho and Kiwior

I'd love another midfielder but it would be sheer greed

MnM always seems to do a good job for us, thank Ganpati. Offers us something different. That volley vs Slavia was a pwoppa striker's finish. The assist for Leo or that backheel that went to MLS then Ethan were pwoppa no.10 moments. Big lad, wins duels, has the box-to-box MFer's skillset and knows how to make space for the other forwards. Look at the space Easy had for all three.

When we first threw him on as a striker for the last ten mins of that game he scored two in, it seemed a mad last throw of the dice. But now I'm totally happy with him playing up top. I think MA's tactics really suit a false 9 - cf Kai - but having Vik gives us something different, the fabled unpredictability.

I really like him. From his perspective he's probably gutted that he didn't get a season at inside left with Dec and Odin, so he's now a squard player. But learning to score like he has has probably got him that starting position in the Spanish national team - ironically what we originally signed him as, a goal scoring and assisting MFer.

This is the first time ever I don't want a new signing, just all our players fit.

Any other year, I'd be a sucker for the NewsNow clickbait, but I don't want us to sign Rodrygo, I'm more than happy with Leo and Gabby. Gabby looked like he was getting back to his best {and his best is very, very, very good} and Leo's playing the best football of his life since he took a pay rise in exchange for being a squard player. His name is Leo and he dances on the sand.

So no, I don't want any signings.

re: Peter saying he fancies a new MF, we don't need one or have the space. We don't yet know how good Norgy can be. But MnM can do a very good job there. And if both he and Zubi were injured, as someone said Odin could probably drop deeper like Santi did.

Dec-Odin-Easy as a MF 3. {MA actually tried that for 20-30 mins before Odin got injured, Zubi came on and then made two.} MLS at LB to invert next to Dec at DM. You lose Ricky C marauding around up front but having both Odin and Easy as 10s more than compensates.

                      Agreed. Don't want anyone else.

A Declan regen would be a laugh, that chap who plays next to him for England apparently.
