I'd certainly rest Rice for Bayern game

I don't think Rice is the sort who would appreciate being left out of such a high profile tie (not that it's hugely important in the grand scheme of things). You want to play for The Arsenal and play in those games.

Think we'll rest Trossard and probably Calafiori and/or Timber too.

I'd consider resting Timber for White, Saka for Madueke and Calafoiori for MLS, as well

Calafiori could certainly use a rest. The worry with Rice is who replaces him when Merino is needed elsewhere?

            Norgaard, I would think.

I think Rich is correct in that he won't rest players as these are the games they really want to play in. Rice is a booking away from suspension the CL?

Yes, and they're only reset after the quarters
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

So it is important that he serves his suspension in the group games? Hence we need him to get booked

We could just bring him on for ten minutes to clatter someone

This is the kind of thinking that we have to move away from. The manager decides who plays and when. The extent to which players do or don't like it can't matter. Sod them!

You can't 'lose the dressing room' when you are top of the league.

We wanted to smash Bayern, I thought; if only for Anaconda's sake?

                        Bigger fish to fry.

All *******s, obviously. He'll start the same eleven, and again at chelsea. Who am I to question the gaffer?

I'd deffo play MLS and Gabby M. They've looked great every time they've played. We have this squard so might as well use it. Also gives us bench options. Likewise, maybe start with Noni? Imagine being able to bring on B, Leo and one of Odin or Eze if chasing a winner against tired defenders.

Well quite. The lovely thing is we no longer have to worry about all that.

                              Right. It doesn't really matter
