but I do indeed hate Richarlison.

Saliba wasn't having any of his nonsense.

He did absolutely f'all apart from that goal. His sole purpose just seems to be to try antagonise our players into reacting.

Probably Zubimendi's worst game for us, thankfully Declan and Timber were outstanding again.

I watched some clips of Hincapie's involvements. Very different to Kiwior. Dominant, stronger, more aggressive, more confident, looks decent on the ball. Definitely looks like an upgrade (although I still think Kiwior was a decent player)

never let their forward bring the ball down when it was hoofed up to him without a firm challenge. Looked very good

Got some serious yards on a few of his clearances as well. Nothing wrong with that

While I'm delighted the Hinchappy cappie looks like an upgrade, I do think Yakob was very under-rated. When he played during his second {first full} season, he'd made one mistake a match. But last year he was superb. Didn't put a foot wrong against Real and their incredibly expensive forward line. Didn't do anything wrong against PSG either.

I was surprised there weren't more for him given he proven himself in the Premier League and in the CL knockouts. I think we should've got far more money for him.

LFC would've been better off buying Guelhi {or however spells his name} from Palace, and they should've taken Yakob and used the profit from that deal and Eze's money to buy a couple of World class players for their team. Switching Yakob for Guelhi and buying a couple of ?40m+ players to replace Eze would've given them a really serious shout in the Euro Conf.

I don't see why a 25 year-old, ball playing CH {who can also play LB and in a back 3} who's proven himself to be able to come second in the PL in an injury-ravaged team, and only lost the CL SF to the winners without making any mistakes cost so little money.

For the same reason all our sales are relatively modest- the clubs who wanted him don't pay huge fees or huge wages.

I like Kiwior (although I don't think he was a great left back) but he lacks a bit of strength and dominance and he doesnt always impose homself on games. In that sense, the Premier League is not ideal for him.

I do think this new lad is a better fit. But Kiwior still goes down a good signing, at a modest fee, who performed well for us. And we got our money back.

Yakob wasn't any good when he first played left back because he was expected to invert which is something he just couldn't do. But we then got Benny Blanc to do the inversion and Yakob to play as a normal, old School left back and he was fine. I remember a no look diagonal cut back 1-2 assist with GabbyGol which was gorgeous.

And when he actually got a run at Centre half last season, the errors from his game disappeared. Real Madrid didn't get sniff against him over both legs. I just think it was worth a lot more than we sold him for. I think we should definitely have made a profit on him.

Look at Liverpool's defence at the moment. Don't you think they'd have been better off buying him for 40 million? Glad they didn't, though.

I guess it's just that most of the European teams don't have the sort of money that the PL clubs do. Unless it's Real or Barca buying a PL player to go straight into the starting XI. Do those sort of clubs spend 40 million on a second choice centre half like we've done with Hinchappie cappy?

It was like when we signed Ricky C. My Juve mate said he was a great signing but they couldn't afford to spend 40 million on a defender even one who would go straight into the first team. And that's Juve - who used to buy the best players on the planet.
