But Trossard and Merino deserve a lot of credit. Both were excellent

    What a year he's had!
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

My previous concerns were answered emphatically today. It proves the point about the value of continuity, bedding yourself in, so to speak. The dilemma now for Arteta is to risk unbalancing what has become a settled side. He can fine tune around the edges and throw on the subs for depth but there will always be value in selecting your best players.
Martinelli and Trossard are interchangeable, likewise Hazard and Gyokeres, whereas Madueke will be a support for Saka.
Eze and Odegaard is going to be difficult.

Different games, different approaches and the luxury of knowing that injuries will probably dictate the trickier decisions for him.

Not impossible for Odegaard and Eze to play together in some games. Odegaard is capable of playing deeper.

Maybe, maybe not. We can rotate both to keep them fit and healthy. And if needed, we can go to 4-1-4-1 with Easy in his natural left 10 position.

Like Santi when we signed Ozil. Given the defence and forwards we have now compared to them, that could be tasty.
