Trouble with that is that everyone loves waving flags, not just the English

Yes, but if they're gonna get crocked, they should get crocked playing for us, not waste vital pre-crock minutes playing meaningless friendlies.

I don't mind people waving flags as long as it doesn't lead to Arsenal players getting injured. That's where I draw my line. When some Austrian postman injuries our skipper on purpose.

Yes,but they are allowed to do so without the need for an excuse. It is only the English who need the cover of a sporting event to avoid being labelled as a right wing fanatic (as I did above)

Some injuries are avoidable. And some are caused by others. For example, of our current crocked forwards only Gyokeres could be considered a result of workload. And his workload was only as high as it was because everyone else was injured.

And short of injuries, physical performance drops with workload. So even if we are not losing players to injury there is a good chance that the overload means we won't see their best.

As we've discussed previously, the whole point of having a large squad is to ensure that you don't need it.

              Fair enough. It's complicated.

Heard about Lewa being asked by Barca bigwigs to stop scoring so, having already secured the title, they could avoid added bonus payments to Bayern?

The game has long since gone

Not at all. It's only foreigners and lefties who believe that
