  • Have to feel really sorry for Slot and the Scousers

Lost 4 league games in a row, 6 of their last 7 and now they have Villa and Real Madrid at home followed by City away before the international break.

Good chance this ends up 6 league games in a row and 8 of their last 9. And Slot is saying their squad isn't deep enough. After having spent ?450mil this summer.

    So unlucky.

I wish, WES, but anyone can beat Real at home, even with their third choice LB at CH and a MF whose never played up front in his life as your only no.9 with no options from the bench.

Get Alan Hansen to play CH instead of VdV, Souness up top {can't be any worse than Isak} and Ronnie Whelan to curl in the FKs {like that milk cup final}. 3-0. Nailed on.

      Most entertaining!
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Difference is our structure is more important to us than any individual player within it. Not sure that's the case right now with our northern friends.

Totally found out. He was lucky to inherit Klopp's squad who were still playing Klopp ball and now he's had a year to implement his ways and they gone completely sh*t.

The fact Liverpool have come back as a force in football is a travesty. Stinking city full of rancid people who don't deserve it.

I shall ignore your second paragraph and partly agree with the first.

Not buying anyone in his first summer was a great move. Gave him a year to look at what he needed.

Their spending this summer has been crazy. Spent far too much on what appear to be the wrong players. Guehi would have been a great signing and they blew it. Wirtz totally disrupts their structure and Isak is lazy. They cannot carry him and Salah in the same team and still hope to press high.

They've blown their money and given themselves huge problems. And they lack cover at centre back. Bad business all round.

I hate the club. I just don't hate the city or the people.

I liked Scousers cos I lived with 2 at uni. And I don't hate the club. The applauded us off at Anfield '89 and if it's not us and is a choice between ManU, Chavs, Man City, Sperz and Scousers I know who I'm choosing.

They generally like us for similar reasons. We were the only ones who stood up to Fergie's MU and we're not financially doped.

I wouldn't go that far but I agree about United. I'd take Liverpool over them every day of the week.

And if I had to sit down and drink with scousers or Mancs, again, no contest.

I lived with two in my 2nd year '90-'91. We beat them home and away and won the title. And they were complimenting us on our football and beating them the whole season. They both went to Highbury for Ray Kennedy's testimonial.
