I wonder if that's why he's done it? Or more to keep the centre of MF tight if Dec's pushing forward more, where he can do most damage?

Also have MnM and Ethan, and of course our most reliable supersub, Leo.

Did you know the real reason he left Brighton on the cheap is because their beach is minging? For his name is Leo and he dances on the sand, not on pebbles.

He seems to have got his mojo back this year. Been given a pay rise and accepted that it's a big squad and everyone will play their part so some will start and others finish.

So gutted the Ricky C was offside last weekend in part because that first time pass to him from Leo was superb.

Hinchappy's on the bench, so all 8 defenders in the squad. All 4 MFs. But with the Doctor playing for the kids, we also have a ten, a winger, a CF and a 10/CF out injured. You really do need big squads.

Ganpati bless and enjoy the night.

Very good. No Merino surprisingly, to me anyway, and Gabby M. starts? Our squad is too big, I cannot keep up.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Eze?s a bit quiet. He?s no Odegaard in that role, is he ?

Very different type of player to Odegaard and arguably less suited to our style. But I think he is part of an attempt to change our style.

Still think he has a lot to offer on the left.

Eze's been fine. Involved in a couple of chance creations.

And Vik's been playing very well.

Just need our players to stay onside. Gabby tonight, Ricky C on Saturday.

Saka is really developing, isn?t he? Seems to be our leader now. So good even with three on him. So strong.

            Lovely to see him thriving.

We need both. Squad depth only actually makes sense if everybody is fit

Yeah, we are doing ok against a good side. Would still like to see us be a little more creative in the central areas.

Raya is ****ing useless. **** hasn't made a single save for 2 and a half games

I?d like to see Calafiori as opposed to young Skelly out there tonight. He?s a good prospect but the Italian is more accomplished with the greater threat imo. We miss his height for those set pieces too.

In fact, it makes no sense if everyone is fit. Waste of money.

The whole point of it is to cope with injuries.

Agreed. At least he is TRYING to make things more exciting

Funnily enough..... I was kind of thinking that MLS was acting as a useful distraction at set pieces. He is stirring up trouble and provoking opponents when actually he is no real threat.

                        Hasn't really worked so far.

The whole point is to improve. Otherwise, THEN it's a waste of money.

Well said. Just hope he doesn't get carried away.
