It will be 22 years since the last one. Feels like yesterday.

The real question now is whether the board will take this as an opportunity to invest and ensure that we dominate for the next decade.

It is frightening that's 22 years ago.

Stan and Josh do seem happy to throw money at the club currently. I remember them being worth around ?7bn when they took over but I saw somewhere recently that they're now worth over ?260bn.....nice work if you can get it.

Longest gap between titles since we first won the league in the 30s.

Fortunately, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Chelsea, the Manchesters and Spurs et al have all done worse. Or better, I suppose.

We've still got work to do

We need to win the champions league. It's a huge mark against us that we've never won it.

That's assuming that we can afford to win it.

Now PSG have won it, we are by far the biggest club to have never won the sodding thing.

I was in NY. I can still hear the singing of 'we are invincible' in the background as a mate called me from a pub on the Blackstock road absolutely pissed out of his head.

How can that be 22 years ago?

Once we've won it people will pay proper money for our players. Then we can really begin to get somewhere
