    Good game, good game.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Never watched Michael Oliver referee a non Arsenal game before. Totally different referee. Pretty much normal, almost sensible.

Admirably allowed the game to flow. I would've been dishing out cards left, right and centre

So would he if we'd been playing.

I don't like to indulge in talk about bias but there is, without question, something wrong with this bloke when it comes to us.

Anyway.... great game, and the right result

No doubt about it; the narrative in English Football has been written in the North-West for decades, perhaps deservedly so.

Still, imagine spending all that money just to lose at home to the worst Manchester United side in recent memory. Sounds like the sort of thing we would do

Imagine spending 120 million on a small creative type and having to leave him on the bench.....

I wonder what their expected goals were.....

Doesn't bear thinking about, does it.

As I always say; when in doubt, buy strikers. Anfield nibs are probably kicking themselves now.

Their other new striker looks quite useful.
