    doesn't like it.

They had one super-sub back in his day and that's fine.

But now we have 5 subs and huge benches, how dare MA find that bringing on different players in different positions, changing formations against tired legs can bring us goals and assists?

With Bilbao, City, Vale and here, that's all but one goal being made or scored from the bench.

5 goals from the bench, 5 assists from bench out of 7 in total.

Leo, Gabby, Eze, Merino and Odin - 5 different players.

But I'm sure that Manc coont is right and the gaffer is wrong.

That was his best game for us so far. He'll be fine.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Can't think of a thing he did right. Back to goal he loses every single ball.

        Alan Smith would be horrified.

Fairly sure Havertz will go straight back in to the starting 11 once he?s fit.

Alan Smith was peerless, of course, but VG very nearly won a penalty and if attackers aren't going to get decisions like that then the game may indeed be truly gone.

Fortunately, despite it happening twice in one weekend, it won't happen again

He also had a centre back try and pull his teeth out of his head.

He's clumsy. I'm really not convinced about him at all

Thought he was excellent. Stick on penalty as well.

Best game so far by far. Deffo moving in the right direction. He's learning how to play with us - took Bergy and Titi half a season and then they rinsed it. Away vs the Geordies and we dominated with him involved. Not like those other games where he barely got a sniff.

I'm clearly in a minority of one on this point, so I shall shut up.

Sesko scored for United. He needed three goes at it but it went in eventually

They really could be in a relegation battle this season. I thought Brentford would struggle this season and they properly turned United over.

They did, but I have to say the VAR decision not to send off the Brentford player for the penalty incident is probably the worst VAR decision I have seen since the MLS one. Even worse than the penalty yesterday.

Agree completely...but **** them. They've had more than their fair share of dodgy decisions. See: Riley, Mike

Every match is different. Five subs out of nine on the bench is alot.
