We have to get a lot better very quickly or Liverpool will be completely out of sight.

    Bad team selection.

We want him to be more adventurous, but I'd have never started with a back 5 at Anfield in '89.

We've added three new forwards who are still all learning to play with each other and their teammates at the same time as bringing in Zubi and switching to a double pivot.

We gave away an early goal against a good team which we never like {cf PSG at home} as it takes the wind out of our sails. One mistake and we were punished. That was a bigger issue than the starting XI.

But we were able to bring on two wingers and two no.10s, going to 3 at the back from about 80'.

And again, two of our attacking subs combined to get a goal.

But with Vik learning to play with us and us with him, we need to play a no.10, be it Odin, Easy, Ethan or {when fit} Kai. We need people who can play him through. That ball to Gabby from Easy is the sort of chance he'd thrive on, too. We need a no.10.

I get people don't want to go back to AW's days of playing four no.10s with a crap defence. But we've got to have at least one no.10 on the pitch. We have Odin, Easy, Ethan and hopefully soon again Kai. One of those always has to start. DB10's spoiled me and I want a pwoppa no.10 on the pitch at all times.

Two big goals from Martinelli to secure a win and gain a draw.

Both from balls played through the middle both good finishes. Sort of thing a good no. 9 can do.

      Just saying

I think good finish is slightly underselling this one. It was a bit more than good.

And Ars?ne said that he liked to start a CF's career on the wing so he'd learn how to beat players. But thinking about it, Feo used to do that and he wasn't a no.9. But I do think Gabby could be.
