I love the way it is being described as the mark of champions. It isn't. Doing it a few times a season when you're not playing well is the mark of champions.Originally posted by 7sisters View PostThis has to stop. Spawney b?stds.
Spunking two goal leads and landing jammy injury time winners every week is the mark of ****s.Last edited by Peter; 09-17-2025, 11:59 PM.

No injuries picked up to key players either. When your lucks in and all that. I?m struggling to think when they last had anyone sidelined for a long period. Jota was often out but not sure he was a regular starter.Originally posted by Peter View PostI love the way it is being described as the mark of champions. It isn't. Their bench doesn?t appear to have huge depth, particularly in defence. Some of those names last night I?d never heard of.. Danns, Leoni, Woodman .. I?m not sure Van Dyke or Salah can go a full season at their age without picking up a knock but given their luck you never know.

We were vilified for it when we got a few last minute wins.Originally posted by Peter View PostI love the way it is being described as the mark of champions. It isn't. Doing it a few times a season when you're not playing well is the mark of champions.

Watched Swansea City instead. Brilliant game
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Exactly. The straw I'm clutching to is that we might be better off coming from behind given that's normally how we win titles and we've blown leads recently. Also, I think our squad depth means we won't have the same end of season problems as recently, and we could have some fit and firing world class players coming back.Originally posted by Peter View PostThey are not playing well at all at the moment. Fhe worry is that these lucky late wins will tide them over until they start playing well
But I'm clutching at straws, aren't I? They're gonna beat the Invincibles by winning every game.
