Noni's surprisingly good, isn't he? We're really lucky he decided playing back-up to B and learning under MA was a better option than hanging around with that filth in west London.

Very happy to see him going outside on his right. Good sign.

Match of the Day managed to make the match look fairly even, it wasn't. We should have put 5 past them at least.

Did it? I admit I wasn't that sober on Sat night when I came back from the offie at 1:30am and put the highlights on, but I seem to remember that we had lots of chances, lots of corners etc and they had one where a cross smacked their own player in the mush and the random deflection produced a great finger tip save.

Are you sure you weren't pissed too? If you're convinced, I shall look again but I remember them signing our praises. Was Jonafon Pearce commentating? He's always loved us since the Capital Gold days.

Possibly my media paranoia but my Dad (doesn't have TNT Sports) said it looked a good game from the highlights, by which he means, close.

I thought we were good, and it wasn't remotely even. We took risks, were aggressive, and even though Eze clearly needs a few more weeks with the lads, you can already see what he brings. Has that ability to speed up the game.

              Madueke was excellent

You obv know your old man better than I do, but could he not have meant good as in we played well?

We scored 3 goals, hit the post and had countless corners after coming close to scoring. All they had was one attempt where their winger accidentally smacked it into his CF's mush before the poor fecker knew what hit him.

MotD in game was going on about us singing Sacked in the Morning and Are you Tottnumb in Disguise? They don't mention that sort of thing unless we're well ahead.

I'll check again on iPlayer later but I thought the vibe was how well we played with so many people out.
