The Post House Hotel at Heathrow. Is it even still there? Used to love that place; never stayed there but, as a kid, when you came up the M40 you knew you were in London when you saw it. And look over to your left and you could see Wembley's twin towers over the horizon.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
I watched yesterday with a fellow Gooner and two non-Scouse Liverpool supporters one of whom was Mrs Lincs. I am still bitterly disappointed that we have become also-rans so soon into what should have been a promising season. I have watched all three Liverpool games so far, all of which should have been draws yet they converted them all into wins. Because their manager changes things around.

Yes, I agree. I really thought we, at least, would batter them.
But there's always Plan B; Mikel can change things around too now, if he wants

Think we should focus on getting Plan A right first.
No, our defending is alright. But Arsene said that that was the easy bit; it's the page one, rudimentary ground level competence test for a coach. If defending was all they had to worry about then every coach could be a genius.
Just think of yourself out in the middle; batting must be a piece of piss if you don't actually have to score any runs.
But maybe our own defence wouldn't be so good if we actually won the title. Good. We have to accept that, embrace it. Revel in it.

Batting is wonderful- unless someone ******* asks you to start scoring runs.

What's still annoying me about Sunday seems disproportionate but also seems to symbolise our whole approach. Corners on the right to be taken by Rice in Saka's absence so all outswingers all headed to safety by Liverpool defenders. Every time! Do something different. Let someone else take a corner. Change something that clearly isn't working ffs!

Have you seen the match stats?
Liverpool were objectively worser performers than The Arsenal.
I appreciate that the most important stat.... etc, etc.
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

To be fair, one of those corners led to our own only shot on target. You could consider that 'working' to some extent......

I looked this hotel up to see if I knew it. It seems that it's a Holiday Inn now and I actually drove past it around 1 hour ago.
