We have nobody to fear this season.

    It is all on Arteta...
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Don't have to beat the top teams to win the league; you just have to beat everybody else, as a wise man once said
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

You have to think you can beat them. We don't.

It is all on Arteta. This is down to him.

We may have nobody to fear but we play as though we fear everybody and everything.

Everyone will point to the injuries but it isn't to do with that. It is this obsession with control and managing the game.

After that first half we shpuld have come out raring to go and thinking we won't get a better chance to win here.

          We did the opposite.

We will think that, and quite quickly too. Otherwise we will've pissed away an awful lot of money. This game was too early though.

It needs a fundamental change in our coaching and mindset. I don't see it coming....

I get you. But how would you feel if we'd lost 5-4.

                  Gutted, but better than this.

The Spanish lad looked good and it is just as well, as he may be getting a run in the side now.

Our next away game is Newcastle. Expect exactly the same performance and same result.

Probably still too soon. He did look alright but Zubi, for example, needs goals on the scoreboard to work with, otherwise he will panic as he did for the free kick/yellow card/goal.

Basically, I want at least one midfield player to always look for the striker first. Poor old Viktor has apparently taken just three shots in three games, and all against Leeds United

At what point did any midfielder look for him?

They always recycle the ball. There's a time for that, and a time to start taking control of a game and dominating it. Sides that win things understand the difference. We quite clearly don't.

Great example- what was the last time we stepped up and rescued a game in the latter stages?

The second that goal went in it was game over. I never thought we had even the slightest hope of scoring.

Rigid mindset, rigid thinking. We simply don't adapt to match situations, we stick to a script.

We need to learn this, we have the players now. When Vieira joined us, you noticed the difference almost immediately.

Just to be clear; for me, you only dominate a game when you're three or four goals up, whatever else is going on.

Against Bournemouth they were two-nil ahead after an hour and ended up being very lucky to win.

When Wenger didn't play the opposition, instead relying on our game, we hammered him.

                          Arteta played Liverpool today.

Undone by a great free kick today. Let's not hammer ourselves...

We're better than this. We're better than what we shovelled up last season.

                            We can't keep excusing it.....

We've played the current champions away from home and narrowly lost.

There are no harder fixtures left, this season.

                              Onwards.
