    We shall see whether we have been lucky this summer over the next few months....... but at least some of that luck (Zubimendi) was result of long term planning.
    I agree with that. It's just we'd be fuming if Isak was ours and doing it to us. FFS, Simb was fuming that a lifelong Arsenal fan chose us over them when we paid a touch more than them.

    Imagine it was peak IWWW or Titi doing this to us, we'd hate it.

    I know what you mean, P, but I can't bring myself to risk jinxing it. Do unto others, and all that.

    We had Cesc and Nasri go in the same summer and ended up signing MA to be our creative hub until we got Santi then Ozil the next two years.

    We've been there, mate, and it's not nice. We basically got Olly G and Poldi for the RVP money and that was a step back.

    It's only 2 games in and we haven't seen Eze yet but everyone else looks great.

    In the last 3 summers, we've signed Dec, Kai, JT, Daveed, Ricky C, MnM, Zubi, Noni, Vik, Triphop and Eze. With MLS, Ethan and Max coming through and players like Norgy and Kep, we've basically got a decent starting XI there.

    Let's just be thankful and not mock others. {Unless they're Sperz, Chavs or Mancs. In which case, mock away.}

      Don't forget the new man from Girona. A defender, of course. Never heard of him, ten million all in.
      "Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

      "But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

        Hang on. Who's this? I thought we were going for the expensive Ecuadorian from Germany {assuming we sell Yakob, and prob Zinny as well.} Who's the gentleman from Girona and is there only one of him?

          I'm sorry, but i ****ing hate Newcastle and if the club folded tomorrow I would piss myself laughing. I hate them more than chelsea.

          And if we were in their situation with Isak, and hadn't signed a striker to replace Wilson all summer, I would be fuming about it. With the club.

          I'm not gloating about the Isak situation. I'm saying they should have signed a striker anyway.

          Fod the record, they are handling the Isak situation badly as well.

            Arnau Martinez. 22 year old Spanish full back. No idea.
