I hope so. I do love London players at the club; they appreciate what it means.Originally posted by 7sisters View PostEze incoming. Looks like he prefers the red and white."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

Torygraph* now saying the same. Whether they have some real journalistic insight or they're just publishing what they read on ****ter cos it's the silly season, I don't know. Don't read the paper enough to know their modus operandi.Originally posted by 7sisters View PostEze incoming. Looks like he prefers the red and white.
But for once, I'll hope the Torygraph is right. Getting him would be perfect. He's cover for Kai {and 8/10 and poss Lw - giving us new formations.} Vik is cover for Jeez. Both to come back fit and firing for the business end of the season if and when, Ganpati willing, we have stuff to play for.
A gooner signed from CPFC. An Eagle who was one of the very few non-AFC players in the league I liked. He's the new IWWW. Fact**.
*I use Bypass Paywalls, add-on. Don't want people thinking I'd pay for that right-wing drivel.
** If he signs that is. If he goes to the scum, he'll be sub-Darren Bent.

I don't know much about this chap, just that Palace actually had two players in the attacking-midfield-hairdo role and I'd presumed the good one went to Bayern Munich.Originally posted by Ganpati's Goonerz--AFC's Aboriginal Fertility Cult View PostTorygraph* now saying the same. More excited than I would otherwise be about this because of the Spurs angle and people are very excited and he seems to be quite decent nonetheless."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

He doesn't really fit our current style. And i guess that is the point.Originally posted by redgunamo View PostI don't know much about this chap, just that Palace actually had two players in the attacking-midfield-hairdo role and I'd presumed the good one went to Bayern Munich.

One or all three of Odegaard, Madueke and Nwaneri are going to be concerned.

Yes, it must be the point; ceding 60% of the ball to Manchester United, say, has got to be unsustainable.Originally posted by Peter View PostHe doesn't really fit our current style. And i guess that is the point.

The captain needn't worry, I think. The others can be happy it's a squad game, plenty of appearances to go around."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
