Sesko is looking more likely than Gyokeres.

I just can't get excited about Eze.

Zubimendi is quality and Kepa is fine solution to back up Raya, especially for ?5m when Chelsea paid ?71m for him.

    Norgaard, meh

Add that little lot to our squad last season and we'd certainly have won .. something.

Meh is probably about right just now as we're actually very good already and we don't really need much.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

In The Times comments under the article about maybe signing Norgaard, I asked a Brentford fan what he was like and he said he was the glue that makes the whole team tick. Jorgy has been a great signing for 12m and it seems that 13m for the 31 year old Norgaard seems a decent replacement for him.

5m for Kapa as back-up 'keeper seems a great buy.

Zubimendi's meant to be the best DM in the world with the possible exception of Rodri {who's got injured in the World Donkey Cup as City lost to a bunch of sports-washing camel-f@ckers.} He could be a really good signing for us, relieving Dec from the pressure of having to drop back and help defend and really do his all action, box-to-box inside left role with more goals and assists.

Zubi-Dec-Odin has the potential to be a great MF. With MLS inverting next to Zubi - and MLS can do that same thing as Zubi in turning away from his marker in no space and breaking through the lines and bursting forward - that gives us a great base. And if we have MLS and Dec on the left every week, they can build that understanding with Gabby and get the best out of him like when he had Zinny and Granit there every week. He hasn't had that for the last 2 seasons. The LB was changing all the time as was the inside-left. Now hopefully he can build the left like the Benny-Odin-B axis on the right. {And JT was getting better at overlapping at RB as the season progressed, which gives B and Odin more space to work with.

I dunno what the plan would be for Eze if, Ganpati willing, he chooses us if he decides to leave the Eagles. But he's a top drawer player - really impressed me every time I've seen him play {and he scored the winner against City in the cup final.} He could give us an attacking plan B, something we've lacked. Had loads of ways of covering the defence, but no real options like AW had when he could just keep chucking on more strikers as we chased a winner.

MnM gives us an option there with Dec dropping back. Scoring 1 in 2 as a makeshift striker was decent and his goals often seemed the sort MFs arriving late score like Freddie did. Kai gives us an option there and maybe Eze could, too. Dunno what Eze would be like at LW, or if he could cover for Odin with Ethan as cover for B.

We just need a striker who really fits the team and can hit the ground running.

But if we get Eze does that mean we don't buy an extra winger?

Not sure about Gyokeres, and I like the look of the young defender at Valencia. Otherwise, yes. Pretty happy.

Too much change is going to create another 'next season' scenario

Only Kepa is official right? All I know is Kepa is CRAP. Seriously he's garbage. He's fallen off a cliff. His Chelsea price tag means nothing. Weird signing surely there's some prospects that are a better back up option.

He's good enough to be our reserve keeper. If Raya gets injured for a considerable amount of time, we would have a problem anyway. This guy is about as good as you are going to get. Anyone better is not going to sit there for years playing 3 games a season.

I don't think he is. I would say that we will see, but hopefully we won't

Exactly. Leaves us with more money to spend on overpriced strikers

talking of which, is this Rodrygo fella an out and out winger, or can he also play striker?
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

I know very little about him. Looks very Real Madrid from highlights. Lots of tricks, clever, technically excellent and seems decent with both feet.

But does he do his work? Does he do what he is told?

I kind of think Eze is the better bet. Would be an option on the left and for the Odegaard role. Powerful, quick, built for the Premier League. Lower wages...

Isn't Eze more of a no.10? I don't watch other teams but the few times I've seen Eze against us, he's looked top drawer. I also like the idea of signing a player called easy.

That is where he plays for Palace. But he looks perfect for our left flank as well. Good defensive stats....
