  • Saka just looks a bit short on everything

A yard short of pace, a split second slow on decisions and a yard light in each pass.

I think he needs a long break. We need him back to his real self.

How long you gonna say "we need him back to his real self" he is finished he's been sh*t for best part of 2 seasons and is starting a 3rd season in even sh*tter form. Bench him and sell him whilst other clubs still believe he's world class. At least get some money. Guy is stealing a living.

The hairstyle has destroyed him. He's turned into Raheem Sterling.

Those England run outs looked very insipid. I’d take Olise in a heartbeat over him at this point.
        Not that he’d come.

I thought he looked okay for England, but he should never have cut short his summer holiday and MA should have told him as much.

There is no power in his game. His pace and acceleration have gone and he isnt even striking the ball cleanly.

We cant compete for the big trophies with him performing like this. They need to work out what the issue is and resolve it now. We'll just have to manage without him for a while if that is what is required.

He did last season too, tbf. Not sure what it is. Too comfortable, perhaps? Too predictable? Perhaps.

I keep harking on about it but we're bereft of talent (compared to our rivals) in the final third. That's not me blaming the ownership because I don't think the talent was there this summer - look at Barcola for Liverpool. What a waste of cash that looks to be. It seems the club will part with cash for someone they're sure about (Vini / Alvarez).

I feel really strongly that the club needs a winger that plays primarily on the left (but can also play on the right) and a centre forward. A swap deal with Gyokeres and Sesko wouldn't be the worst idea in the world and would likely benefit both United and The Arsenal.

Anyway - we're 5 points clear of our nearest rivals (Chelsea) at the top of the Premier League. Reason to be cheerful.

Noni looked decent on the left, I thought. I know I've been advocating this for some time now but think he likely keeps his place there over Tzolis too. I don't like him so much on the right so if Saka has to be dropped then it's for Dowman or maybe Eze.

Quality in the forward line was, without question, the problem on Saturday. Rest of our game was quite good.

Dare I say that Dowman has a more than reasonable case for starting tomorrow night.

Absolutely. On current form, Saka doesnt deserve to start.
