No way! Then he wouldn't even have been on the bench. Too risky.Originally posted by Pat Vegas View PostSwap deal coming I think."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

I also think Quantum and Ricky C's combinations could get the best out of Vik. Especially as he can drift over to the left and cut in with them combining like Titi, Bobby and Cashley.Originally posted by Peter View Post
I dont want him to leave. He'll be invaluable if we play at this pace and with this creativity.

On the other hand, Pat may be right; Julian also on the bench today and he is definitely leaving.Originally posted by Ganpati's Goonerz--AFC's Aboriginal Fertility Cult View Post

All we know for sure is that there will be a reshuffle before the window shuts.
Of forwards. A real reshuffle."Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

According to the internet, which Rich assures us is always correct, the makeweight is Martinelli not Gyok and at a value around 60mil. Personally, I'd rather give up Martinelli than Gyok.Originally posted by redgunamo View Post

But I don't get the Alvarez desire at all. Whenever I've seen him play he's been pretty anonymous, including in the CL semi against us and in the WC. He's also more a No 10 then a No 9 for me and we really don't have a no 10, not one that plays up front anyway. The player he's most like is Havertz. Even if he's better than Havertz, I'm not so certain, it is marginal. And he doesn't have the kind of pace you'd want in a wide attacking player so not coinvced at all that he can play anywhere across the front 3.
Anyway, happy to go with Arteta as usual, if he wants to spend 40mil or more + Martinelli he must have a plan on how to fit Alvarez into the team. I've just never seen a player worth that amount of money, and I don't want to lose Gyok.

If we are believing the Internet then there is also the 'fact' that he doesnt want to come here.Originally posted by WES View Post

True, but this has been replaced by the most recent 'fact' that he has now changed his mind. Mostly, because AM won't sell him to Barca. This may or may not be a 'fact'.Originally posted by Peter View Post

He's not better than Kaiser. He wasn't better than Vik in the CL SF, Vik was vastly superior, and Kaiser's better than Vik. He's scored in 2 CL finals ffs. He can finish with foot and head, as he has in the last 2 games, has a sublime fist touch and can pass and create like a 10 while also do a bit of Smudger holding up.Originally posted by WES View Post

And he's not a cheating Argie.
We have just treated ourselves to a semi-decent {just 6 years old} car for the first time in our lives. And it's German, not Argie. I rest my case.
Basically, I was 90% happy with the squad after Bruno.
Once we got Konsa and we knew we still have some money stashed for Jan I was 100% happy. Didn't want Vini or Rogers, I felt we were favourites.
Now he's pissing off two of my fave players, MLS and GabbyGol, for no good reason.
Why? To try to get an Argie cheat who's weaker than Vik, not fit to lace Kaiser's boots, and doesn't want to come anyway.
I'd rather we got Chuba Akpom back than this Argie. They tried to cheat Daveeed, Zubi and MnM in the final. **** 'em.
I don't want his sort 'round here. Argies play for Tottnumb. Brazzas play for us. That is the way it should be.
Ossie's on his way to Endsleigh and all that.
