    across the box for Noni.

He had a hand in all 3 goals. That's ****ing impressive for his first competitive match with us.

I so hope that no only does he win us loads starting with this season but that he also does much better than Vini.

It actually says a lot about both where we are as a club now, and how he's looked so far pre-season, that no fans are moaning that we didn't get Vini, didn't get Rogers and just have some bargain basement from the Belgian league as our replacement for Leo.

We've only bought him and Bruno and everyone's happy with that. Couldn't we just tell Ethan to spend the next 12 months exclusively using his right peg?

I've said it on here many times but Nwaneri is not a central player. Certainly not yet. So yes, developing his right foot and using him on either flank is a decent development step.

But it looks as though we are going to sell him.

Is the difference between Christo assisting and scoring a quantum of Tzolis?

I heard that one on the radio. Very good

I am very excited by the possibility of Odegaard returning to being Odegaard. I am rather concerned about Saka's new hairstyle....

My eldest daughter was not impressed with Saka's barnet.

I'm delighted Ben White is back, even just for his superb ****housery

I dont want Saka turning into Raheem Sterling

Ben White is going to be hugely important with both Saliba and Timber out. I hope he rediscovers his best form.

What? Someone beat me to it? Gutted.

I do hope B's new hairstyle works. When Sagna signed, he had funky hair and looked great. First time I got to see him live, he's changed his hair that week and looked ****e. The next week, on tv, he had his hair back and played superbly.

              {Insert your own joke about thinking Sansom was a left back, not right, here.}

Hopefully,B's new hairdo will kick in vs Coventry on Friday and we'll have him back to his best, too.

Compared to last season when for much of it, we were playing Noni, Easy and Vik, if we have B, Ødin and Kai back fit and playing at their very bests, that's like 3 world class new signings.

Add in Bruno for Zubi and Quantum for Leo and that's all but Dec in the front six upgraded on the starting XI we had for a decent chunk of the season. And that previous team are Champions.

I was thinking similar. We won the league last season despite having Odegaard, Saka, Havertz and White either injured or horribly out of form for the majority of the season.

The real version of those four firing every week makes us a different side.

Yup. We have big Willy out for a few months and we could get long term injuries to vital players at any point.

But if by some Divine miracle we got and kept everyone fit and they get back to their best, then we've added those 4 like new signings. MLS in MF is like a new signing. Bruno is a new signing is is apparently not only amazing but fills all the skills gaps in our MF. We're still unsure of Quantum's quality, and when Leo was good he was very, very good, but he had a huge period in the middle of the season when he created nothing. If Quantum can play as he has, and create even more and the team and him learn to play with each other then he, too, could be an upgrade.

He he keeps playing like that and improving, I'm not bothered that we missed out on Rogers or Vini. And having 100m in the bank come Jan could be vital.

Ganpati willing, Ødin, B and all the rest of them will have the best seasons of their lives so far. And we know that we can win it, and the CL given how close we were last year.
