  • Jesus Christ, we are woeful. 2-0 down already.

    I hope we don't do a Liverpool in our attempt to retain the title.

    We're only missing the 4 Englanders, 3 Spaniards and Bruno.

    Oh, and Big Willy obviously {though Triphop's looked fine from what I've seen though missed the first goal.}

    MA's twin tens hasn't worked this game or before. I expect us to be back with a double pivot for the start of the season. Let's hope we can win and score a few corners again.

    For some reason, and it may be the twin tens, neither of our wingers has really touched the ball.

    The twin tens will never, ever work.

    We just need the big players to have a fair break and come back fit. We may start slowly but we should be ok

      Contrary to you comment, P. I really like the Greek lad.

      We are going to miss Saliba but hopefully Bruno G, Rice and Raya in goal should tidy us up defensively.

      Marli Salmon looks like Reggie from Bad Boys 2

        I didnt watch yesterday, so only saw the Greek lad once, and he was messy (not the other spelling!). Obviously it is terribly unfair to judge on one pre season game. It was jist an initial thought.

        I dont care about these losses and I am quite happy with the squad. I'd still like to see Jesus moved on, as well as Vieira. My only real concern is that we are a bit light defensively with Saliba out for a long time and Timber apparently a fair way off.

        I wonder if we will bring a defender in. Ideal situation might be another Hincapie deal- bring someone in with an option to buy and make a decision next summer as to whether we keep them.

          As I have just posted elsewhere, P, the Bubble has a goal involvement in every game. Assist; goal; corner assist; assist and won pen.

          If he can keep that up, I'm happy as long as he tracks back.

          Would be ****ing hilarious if he gets more G+As in the PL and CL than Vini does. That would be so, so funny.
