But listening to {I think it was} B and Dec said that during the run in, they had a lot of team meetings and Norgie was one of the main leaders. An experienced, international captain, and they all listened to him.

We should build him a statue because by the sound of it, his cool, Danish head led to us winning the title for the first time in a couple of decades.

Seems like he'll be off, but we need to make sure we send him our gratitude.

Let's not start handing out the statues just yet. They have to mean something. Adams, Bergkamp, Wenger. Those are statues. That is the level.

Mikel can have one when he leaves. Probably Saka.

Oh, come on, p. I wasn't literally saying give him a statue. I was saying metaphorically. I was saying we need to acknowledge the role he had as a non-playing captain. He seems to have been like Brearly or Jardine. If people like Dec and B are talking about the respect they have for his as a leader then we should listen.

So, a nice bottle of wine, or something similar?

I'm up for that. Maybe we could all chip in, WES could get a bottle of NSG from Paris and we could send it to him with the thanks of Awimb. I'll chuck in a tenner. Then he'll know that he's appreciated by us. By the sound of it, he may well have one us the title.

I'm a Guinness man. I know nothing of wine. I'll leave it to the connoisseurs

Maybe it should be a crate of Special Brew, given he's Danish?

Excellent signing, imo; behaved very well.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
