pressure that any player has to endure. So why did that jew-baiting, square-headed lederhosen wearing c unt of a kraut ref decide it would be a good idea to start yapping into Gab's face just before he took the pen?

Because he was a terrible, terrible referee. Shameful. He did it to the guy taking the first one as well. Idiot.

One might ask why Gabriel was left to take that kick...... but not right now.

      Kai and Bukayo weren't there

We did slowly remove a lot of penalty takers- Saka, Havertz, Odegaard....

Butz the changes were needed. It happens.

We took the best team in the world to a shootout. Couldn't have got closer.

Well done, everybody. It has been quite a season

Chelsea are the best team in the world, I think you'll find.

I agree though, without those three we didn't really want a penalty shootout.

In which case it might have been an idea to try and win it in ET. I liked our substitutions and thought we had a good chance to score in ET, had we tried to

That's what we do, that's what it looks like when we're trying to score.

Agreed. We did try. And i am usually the first to accuse us of being negative.

I dont think we could have done much more. This is against comfortably the best side we have faced all season. They are miles, literally miles, ahead of any team in the premier league.
