ask our beloved Elephant-Headed Remover of Obstacles and God of Good Luck and Fortune to have a word with the Gods of Football and get us to beat PSG the day after my 55th birthday, please?

Easy prayed for a hat-trick before his first NLD and it came to pass.

I've been praying to Ganpati for decades to win us stuff, but on your very first go, you get Him to win us a title by getting Him to get the Gods of Football to bless the mighty Boscombe. These are facts.

So please ask Him to get the Gods of Football to help us beat PSG.

On it m8. You still didn't tell me that drug that assists a man's passage onto the Astral Plane. If I can get on there I reckon I have more chance of being heard. I'm thinking it was something as simple as Ket?

Which brings me to the question, what were our players doing at the training ground at 10:00 p.m. on a school night
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

I think it was a staff development session on diversity and inclusion. Then someone put the football on.

Did you see that Mikel ( peace be upon him ) stayed away. Good move. He knew he'd end up being tossed in the air and squirted with bubbly. He, I sense, is keen to project a certain gravitas. I make him right and I now see, and am fully subscribed, to his mission to create a dynasty unrivalled in the history of English football. I will never refer to him as LegoBonce again.

He went home and had a barbecue apparently. Didn't watch the game.

Not sure i believe that, but it really doesn't matter

Two games still to go. At least one of them will end with us lifting a trophy.....

Yup. Of course, the sadhus just smoke chillums of charas. But any psychedelic would do it - clue's in the name. Huxley coined it, mind-expanding.

But your soul is connected to the Divine of which it's just a small part, even if your conscious mind isn't aware of it. So the Divine will hear your soul's prayers.

It worked earlier in the week, didn't it?

I would so love it if your faith wins us the CL. Would be great if next season someone posts "Haven't heard from Herbs. Wonder where he is?" and someone replies "Saw him outside the stadium last week, dressed in saffron and banging a tabla, chanting Hare Rama, Hare Krishna, Hare Ganesha, Hare Hare."

Btw, you've obviously sussed that even if you think it's mostly nonsense, you can't make things worse for us by praying. Did you know in WW2, all these upper-class cosmics wanted permission to breach the blackout and make a big fire to dance around on some layline, praying to the Earth Goddess to protect Albion from the Nazis.

Went all the way up to Winnie, who eventually agreed saying "It's almost certainly *******s but we have nothing to lose by letting these lost-its try." And as you might have noticed, we did win the war.
