I agree. And the confirmation that Pep is gone will just inspire them.Originally posted by Peter View PostCity will have watched that and they'll think that side isnt going to win at Palace. Or at least, there is a very good chance they won't
If City win tomorrow, I think they win the league.
But also; it is arguably AFCB?s biggest game ever.

John - we won't beat Palace away. Have you watched us recently? Selhurst Park is a difficult place to go.Originally posted by John Bunnell View PostGuys shut up wtf is wrong with you it's in our hands we just need to win and please don't forget Palace will 100% be resting players with one eye on the Conference.
Last home game too so their fans will be well up for it.

Apparently Glasner was in this position at his previous club. He rested one player.Originally posted by John Bunnell View PostGuys shut up wtf is wrong with you it's in our hands we just need to win and please don't forget Palace will 100% be resting players with one eye on the Conference.
We might win at Palace. But it has to be said- there is a very good chance that we wont.

I'm the most pessimistic here usually, but FFS if we can't beat a Palace side languishing bottom half of the table, with nothing to play for in the league, and one eye on their final 3 days later we will deserve every embarrassing call out as bottlers we will get and all the mocking from rival fans. You lot mention they will be fired up because final game of season lol WE SHOULD BE TRIPLE FIRED UP BECAUSE WE CAN WIN THE LEAGUE.

Well, i think most of us would agree with that. Title winners should be able to win that game.Originally posted by John Bunnell View PostI'm the most pessimistic here usually, but FFS if we can't beat a Palace side languishing bottom half of the table, with nothing to play for in the league, and one eye on their final 3 days later we will deserve every embarrassing call out as bottlers we will get and all the mocking from rival fans. But the fears you're hearing here have not come out of nowhere. We regularly screw up in big moments. And the pressure on Sunday will be incredible.
We know that if we do go 1-0 up we will try and sit on it. And i just dont see us getting away with it again. We did against Newcastle. And West Ham. And last night.
With that much pressure on us, I cant see us getting away with it again. But then I have been criticising us for this very thing all season. If it costs us the title, it will serve us right.

Villa may also do us a favour in Manchester on the final day. Not sure how much goodwill Unai Emery has for The Arsenal, though.Originally posted by Peter View PostWell, i think most of us would agree with that. Title winners should be able to win that game.

I think tonight's game is the one they might drop points in. Bournemouth have a lot to play for and hoping Pep leaving might take the wind out of City's sails. I know the City fans in my office are all very flat today.Originally posted by Peter View PostI think that is very, very unlikely.

Surely the leak about Pep is intentional. I know it's been a bit of an open secret for months but something doesn't sit right with the timing.Originally posted by PSRB View PostI think tonight's game is the one they might drop points in. He'll come out before / after today's game and say he's staying for another year.

I think them dropping points tonight is perhaps more likely than us winning at Palace. So I do see this is our best chance of winning the league.... if they win tonight it is genuinely the flip of a coin come SundayOriginally posted by PSRB View PostI think tonight's game is the one they might drop points in.
