arguably a red card and a pen not given for Munich in about a 5 min period

Pen was nailed on based of what UEFA has been enforcing

I think it would have been a very harsh penalty given he blocked a clearance from his own player. But I didn't think the rule made that distinction.

    Who knows.

Thought UEFA was clear, ball hits your arm away from your body = pen

That was clearly that, he even moves his arm towards the ball, who plays the ball makes no difference in any rule that I know of

        Is it Trossard.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Well, then it is a clear handball and their one redeeming claim.of their absurd handball rule (that it is at least clear and consistent) is proven to be utter ****.

I prefer the Premier league, where chaos and inconsistency can be taken pure, without the base alloy of hypocrisy.

            Only if it's a goal (or goal-adjacent).

            No, me neither.

It isn't. I guess they are saving him for the final.

                Turpin? Highway robbery alert

I think you may be right, he's actually the top ref now, so I gather.

Of course, the real Trossard would want us to play Swindon Town

Turns out there is an exemption for when the ball is hit at you by a team mate. Unless the handball is intentional.

So it was the right decision.

And on the red, it hit a Bayern arm first. So, turns out the ref got both decisions right. According to the BBC.....

I just watched the alleged Bayern handball and saw no contact at all, it certainly wasn't clear. I think the ref knew it was a second yellow against Mendes and invented a phantom call to avoid having to make a difficult decision.

As for the handball is not a handball if your player kicked it - unless I have missed something all these years this is just UEFA making it up as they go along, absurd.

And as a final and irrefutable contribution to this dilemma, I can confirm that the referee is Portuguese.

But it was on the BBC, Wes

The rule is perfectly clear, it is just that nobody knew about it

I watched the 'red card' again. Their excuse is utter nonsense. That's a deliberate handball and a second yellow.

Just seen it again and the ref initially points as a free kick to Bayern, than he magically changes it to PSG.

Bent as f@ck, hardly surprising as he?s Portuguese

So you wouldn't be too happy if we signed Vitinha this summer?

I do understand. I don't like Brazilian footballers at all but obviously I love ours. Well, most of them.....
