All of this elation and hysteria?s going to turn to complete shyte in traditional Arsenal style within a couple of weeks though.Originally posted by Peter View PostYou were right. They pretty much did run out of ideas. Our subs made us more solid.
We?re can all agree on that, right ?
Just wanted to get that in before Sir C comes along.

They seemed to create less when they made the final change. I wasn't paying attention to them, but was it one of those where you bring on too many forwards and lose the MF?Originally posted by Peter View PostYou were right. They pretty much did run out of ideas. Our subs made us more solid.

I think it was our subs that made the difference. The extra energy got us up the pitch and we pressed better, kept the ball away from our third.

Absolutely - none of that sitting back and waiting for death like cats in a bag - take the fight to the enemy. They couldn't cope.Originally posted by Peter View PostI was happy that Lookmam went off.

Hincapie was charging down the flank like an express train. Brilliant stuff.Originally posted by Herbert Augustus Chapman View PostAbsolutely - none of that sitting back and waiting for death like cats in a bag - take the fight to the enemy. They couldn't cope.
Vik's efforts tonight were amazing. If only that goal had gone in. Came at him quite high, tiny bit unlucky.

That's the fabled squad depth. All I know is we were really on the back foot until they made their final change and suddenly we had more of the ball.Originally posted by Peter View PostI was happy that Lookmam went off.

Gabby's good to bring on at times like that - his pace and skill against tired defenders.
And after 5 years of MA trying to find a LB he likes, being able to bring on a Hinchappy for the Libero shows he's got what he wants at last.
Which means this summer he'll spend over 50 mil on yet another LB. How many have me had since KT signed?

As MLS is now a midfield genius, we do need another defenderOriginally posted by Ganpati's Goonerz--AFC's Aboriginal Fertility Cult View PostThat's the fabled squad depth. All I know is we were really on the back foot until they made their final change and suddenly we had more of the ball.

Very few players would have kept it down. Thinking of UrdyGard and Cali though, it does look like a bit of shooting work is required in training. How come Tross deosn't rip open the net anymore too?Originally posted by Peter View PostHincapie was charging down the flank like an express train. Brilliant stuff.

We're going to get beaten at West Ham and then raped in the bottom by PSG.
Just prepare yourselves.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Bayern have a great chance of getting through tonight....Originally posted by Sir C View PostWe're going into a London derby against relegation candidates absolutely shattered and running on adrenaline.
