    I had been refraining from posting here as things had been going rather well for us while I didn't... but that's obviously nonsense.

    Big game yes. But not as big as the West Ham one imho.

      I think this is as big, almost bigger. I'd almost go as far as describing it as large.

      I did the same thing last night, by the way. I refused to turn the city game back on because when I turned it off they started struggling. Wouldn't even check the score until full time.

      Yeah, it is probably nonsense. But what if it isnt...... why take the risk?

        Second legs of CL SFs after a drawn first leg are generally not the smallest games a club will play all season.

          I think I have a slight preference that we win the PL. Even though we've won it before it feels like a more significant step for Arteta and KSE's project. One that we could really kick on from.

          That and getting to the CL final is pretty pointless as it'll just mean a mauling in Budapest.

            There would be a definite feeling of regret if we dont win the league. But a part of me thinks that a win tonight will help us in the run in.

            Winning either trophy would be wonderful. I dont want to choose.

              What did you think Viktor's pass for B's goal? I thought it was sublime {and Easy set him free - nice combination of our 10, 14 and 7. Think Bergy to Titi to Bobby P.}

              For 45 mins with a fully fit and firing B alongside him, he looked like the player we hoped we'd signed. Though I accept that 3 goal involvements in 45 mins would work out at over 300 in a season so it's unlikely he'll be able to keep it up. But we can but pray.}

              If he wins us both tournaments and scores in the remaining five games, will you send him a bunch of flowers and a bottle of bubbly with a hand-written apology?

                Seen. I'm going to concentrate on the World Cup from now on

                  None of that nonsense, now!

                  We must all hang together, or else we shall all be hanged separately.

                  As the late, great Graham Taylor famously said 'get your head up, look for your win'...

                  Of course, later that evening he was prowling the touchline saying 'you know we've been cheated. Your referee has got me the sack'

                    Paul Merson hit the bar with a free-kick in that game?

                      Someone must have hacked your account, P, cos after we lost to City, someone using your log-in said that while they'd keep watching the CL games, they wouldn't bother with the league games any more.

                        Never quite know what to make of the Champions League. Bit of a jolly really, not serious. The league and FA Cup double is our holy grail.

                        But the players take it very seriously indeed

                          You don't have to choose old stick 'cos we ain't winning either. We will hand the whole show back to CIty when West Ham beat us and Atletico will give us a good shoeing tonight ( courtesy of Gronkey missing a hatful of sitters ).

                            Oh, of course, yeah. Just saying, I'd be more excited about tonight if we were in a comfortable third place in the Prem.

                              Yeah, it's a CL game tonight

                              I watched the Fulham game because there were signs of the new midfield in Madrid. And then he picked MLS, and Saka returned. I had to watch that.

                              Now City have forced me to watch the remaining games.

                              Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in
