Why on earth haven't we tried him before?

We sign Norgie but MA won't play him barring an emergency. We have 3 other great LBs if you include JT and we've run our MF duo into the ground.

MA's got some pressure decisions to make. Play MLS and if it doesn't work, he gets slated. Don't play him and if it doesn't work, we get slated.

Without wanting to dampen enthusiasm, Fulham were genuinely awful yesterday. The talk is they had a virus in the camp abd it kind of looked like it.

The way we played yesterday wont work in every game. But my god it was great to see. And there is a list of games this season where it would have worked and maybe would have saved us from dropping points. I wont bore you with the list, but Bournemouth are on it.....

But those ranks are vs the rest of our team. You would expect the most successful passes to be the 2 CHs and Dec dropping deep there but MLS was 2nd.

Best passing accuracy at 96+% - can't argue with that. Nor with winning duels.

The other 11 players were also playing Fulham and MLS did better than them.

Always loved him. Now Ethan needs to go somewhere that brings out the best in him. That Gnabry couldn't get into the Stoke team and then went to win shedloads with the Hun.

I'm not knocking MLS, I thought he was brilliant.

I would be slightly concerned at him being left on the ball in the anchor role too often. He does like to take a risk and will get caught on the ball. He's best off slightly higher up.

I think Ethan needs to come back here and play, ahead of certain other people.....but that is just me

Would love to see Ethan back and playing. But if he could spend a season at a Euro-level club and start every match and looking world class, that would be good, too.

When MLS was playing inverted LB and we had that box MF, he generally got away with the risks he took just outside our box - having back to goal and two men on him, he'd turn and burst forward.

It was high up the pitch that he got caught out before.

**** me, my fake Baileys, dark choc truffle tart is lush. Shall have to get a few more chunks to go with my cuppa.

If anyone wants the recipe, just ask. It is good.
