What a game this is so far.

More action in 30 minutes here than in three months of our games.

    Different league.

The attacking talent, and intent, is quite remarkable.

    Then watch tomorrow's match...
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

That?s because they have elite players in all three of their forward positions. Players that (Diaz aside) would cost well over 100m. They also have more of the same on their benches.

We have a ramshackle, hodge-podge of a front three. Like something from the bargain bin at Blockbuster. I?m positive that it?ll be addressed in the summer but for us to be doing what we?re doing with that farmyard of a forward line is nothing short of exceptional.

But yes, what a great half of football. We won?t be trying to replicate it though because we simply do not have the facilities. 0-0 would be lovely.

Oddly enough, back in the day under Wenger, Arteta too; before big games, I used to pray for a match with no goals. Please, Boss, set us up for a nil-nil. Just get us a clean sheet. We know we have injuries and suspensions, no form, various stalwarts unavailable. Plus the fact that they're better than us, in any case.

So there's no need to go toe-to-toe with Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City et al just to prove a point; we will understand.

"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Can I just check something- are you including Saka as part of this ramshackle bargain bin?

If so, no offence, but you are ****ed in the head

True. But did you ever think pray for it away to Fulham? With all your players available.....

No I?m not. And not Kai Havertz either. But I do think Saka would benefit from having better talents at CF and LW. He gets doubled up on at the moment because the others are rather easy to defend against.

I?ve got a feeling Gyokeres still doesn?t start tomorrow even with Havertz out. He?s inept at holding the ball up so will just invite wave after wave of pressure. Will have to do Jesus I think. One last dance for our 9.

Yes. Just so anxiety levels are through the ****ing roof for 100 minutes...

We?re home to Fulham. And Havertz, Merino and Timber are all out.

Close proximity. Off his own body part. Harsh

They will be. That?s for certain. But it?s only because that?s the way we maximise the chances of us going through to the final.

Well, you cant really call Havertz bargain bin. Or Eze. Particularly as they cost roughly the same as most of the forwards you are raving about this evening.

We cant play Jesus tomorrow. His legs have gone. And his finishing is despicable

Absolutely, yes! Take nothing for granted. And the league has only got better, or worse, I suppose, since then. I mean to say, many Fulham players, for example, could play for us. As R suggests, we are not up in the stratosphere yet.
