Yes, it's always difficult to run an essentially illegal operation according to the actual rules; any wrong-doer who's ever tried to go straight could've told them this.Originally posted by 7sisters View PostWe need Chelsea?s marketing department tbh.

Right. But the actual reason is they're both too small and Arteta has rather individual ideas about that sort of thing.Originally posted by Ganpati's Goonerz--AFC's Aboriginal Fertility Cult View PostI think the excuse is finances. Selling them is pure profit on the books.

Max may as well **** off now. No point in signing a contract, getting shunted back to the reserves and then ending up on loan because we've spent a fortune on another big lump from Chelsea.Originally posted by redgunamo View PostRight. I dont think he has signed a professional contract yet. So we would literally be giving him away.Originally posted by redgunamo View PostThat's football, he's had his chance.

But, as you say, he had his chance, and he did well. He'll always have that

His parents are his agents and are both Gold Members - so that's good.Originally posted by Peter View PostI dont think he has signed a professional contract yet. So we would literally be giving him away.

He may also turn into a big lump in time anyway.

I dont think red was being terribly serious about the big lump thing. We have plenty of players who aren't but still retain Arteta's favour- Saka, Trossard, Martinelli, Odegaard.Originally posted by Rich View PostHis parents are his agents and are both Gold Members - so that's good.

Of course, he has slowly destroyed them all, but the key word there is slowly....

You must be concerned Mikel saw it and Alvarez will end up at Old Trafford
