We are allegedly particuarly interested in Livramento and Jiminez at Bournemouth to replace him.

Sounds like Ben White could be off to Everton, then.

Well he's 29 this year and his recent injury record has been sub-optimal. Several other clubs interested though so I would be looking for 30-40m.Originally posted by Peter View PostThat would involve a substantial loss, then. Everton won't be paying anything like what we paid for him.
Best right back in the league 18 months ago.....

It is the 'very much second choice' bit i dislike. We've overused Timber and the consequence is inevitable- drop off in form and now injury.Originally posted by Rich View PostWell, he's very much second choice and presumably wants to play. 150k a week is also a lot for a backup right back.
Much rather have a Jiminez on 50k a week and allow him to build his career here.
I dont know if White would have played more if he had been fit. I do know he didnt when he was.

The captaincy is also an issue......Originally posted by WES View PostMore importantly, is our captain, you know, the one who every single time we seem to need the sicknoted **** he's injured again, due back anytime soon?
Or will he magically appear for a few games once we're 2 points behind City?
If he doesn't make Declan Rice the club captain in the summer i am going to start thinking that he has lost the plot.
I love Odegaard but Rice is a captain. It's quite frankly embarrassing for whoever is wearing the armband that everyone looks to Rice for leadership.

Odegaard's endless litany of injuries might provide Arteta with the motivation to hand it over to Rice, although he's been handing it over to Saka which no one seems to understand.Originally posted by Peter View PostThe captaincy is also an issue......

Ironic innit? The player who is captain is never captain because he's always injured which means a player who I'd rather was injured becomes a really sh1t captain.
F*ck knows how we're 6 points clear at the top of the league.

In any other season of the last ten years, bar Leicester, we'd currently be second. With a trip to the Etihad on the horizon.

That'd be nice. 4-6 weeks for Ebs, I'm readingOriginally posted by WES View PostOr will he magically appear for a few games once we're 2 points behind City?
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
