    about losing yesterday.

I'm not sure why - Perhaps because I don't really care for the League Cup? Perhaps because I know we're still fighting on three (more important) fronts? Perhaps as it was expected with no Odegaard or Eze meaning we had to play Havertz outside of his best position.

City are an exceptional team full of exceptional individuals. Let's just move on - who cares.

Never like to lose but I couldn't (and haven't since the 90's) give a toss about the competition. However, the manner of the defeat is concerning. We looked leggy, 2nd to every ball and generally bereft of any ideas.

I was just surprised at how little I cared when the day came around. Glad I didn?t spend ?1500 on a ticket as I nearly did.

I don?t think it was a surprise given our options. Quality in the final third is our weak spot on a good day? and with Eze and Odegaard out it was hard to get anything going.

We still hit the woodwork twice and Kai really should have scored that chance in the first half. Saka on the rebound too but that was a great save from Trafford.

We?ll just have to be content with a treble, I suppose.

As long as we win the league I'll be happy

Same here. I just wish we had played like that ahainst Brighton in the earlier round and saved ourselves all the aggravation and game time.

If we dont care about this competition then we have wasted an awful ot of time and energy on it.

My view is we should play the kids and back up players all the way through. In the grand scheme of things, it was another game the players didn't need.

We tried that ahainst Brightona dna accidentally won

Then we got trapped in a winnable competition.

The manner of yesterday's defeat is far more worrying than the result.

Still, they have a couple of weeks off now to forget about it.

I guess we have to hope that City continue to drop points and that we can drag ourselves over the line in the four home games.

                Gotta respect the competition though

We did make a little money out of it too, in fairness. And we have a big squad; got to keep them all busy somehow.

The injuries keep them busy enough.

But they wouldn't if we weren't. If you follow me
